Night Bloom’s Nocturnal Universe

At 2:37am—still wired, zzz deprived, but committed to the grind, so the plundering continues for another couple hours or two.

Just to wear the mind out.

As a sporadic creative and a productive night owl, the name Night Bloom definitely appeals to the writer in me.

And it just so happens that they make incredible music for that particular moment. I’m sure it works with plenty of other activities, but those 2am vibes hit a lil’ different.

“Ghost From Your Past” is haunting and beautiful. Synth & reverb heavy, it bounces on simple hip-hop percussion. It’s slower, thoughtful, haunting and soulful.

On “Breaking Fast”—maybe you and your significant other had a romantic dinner, candles and all. You know it’s only tonight, but you want the night to last forever. Sure, that’s corny, but most of us have been there—this is a song for that moment. Slow dance to “Breaking Fast” and I’ll bet five bucks the rest of the night falls into place.
