A Rare and Spirited Team Ready To Bring The Lombardi Back To Philly

If we play our best, the Lombardi will return home at a rate unprecedented to Philly sports since the Flyers went back to back.

The way this team is built—hall of fame lines on both sides of the ball, playmakers at every skill position, and a total stud of a quarterback, the unmistakable leader of the team, on a rookie deal—it might not be possible to replicate after paying the Hurts franchise money.

But no means am I saying there won’t be more championship runs, but the team is going to look different next year.

The point is this: from its structure, to its talent, to its camaraderie, to its grasp on the city—this caliber of football team doesn’t come around very often.

The Spirit

There’s no question every Eagle out there is going to leave it all on the field. It’s a good feeling to have about your team going into a Super Bowl. Not saying the Chiefs won’t be doing the same, but they have been back 3 times now and we’re only returning 4-5 guys from our Super Bowl team. Is it possible inexperience can be an advantage? Maybe.

We’ve got the right amount of it: young guns flying around with urgency paired with a core group of experienced Hall of Famers leading them, who already did the damn thing once.

Bold prediction: Eagles get a strip sack TD

Birds by a tuddy.

Three Good Omens I Don’t Believe in But Will Share Anyway because they are good for the Eagles

  1. Dumb Chiefs fan but a red shirt on Rocky

  2. All-female fighter jet flyover—Jalen Hurts has an all-female management team

  3. Last Super Bowl I rolled my ankle jumping off a car, I got a bad case of strep throat, and my girlfriend and I broke up. This Super Bowl I threw my back out and got elbowed in the face playing basketball to the point I need needed my lip stitched up, plus the great date I went on three weeks ago has since been in Denver and India and hasn’t returned my text from two weeks ago.

Good signs.

Good signs, babbyyyyy.
