FACES @ The Mummer’s Parade
This has got to be a New Year’s Day tradition going forward.
Out with the old—getting drunk near the Kimmel Center with friends—and in with the new.
Well, not totally out with the old. Next year I’m going to haul around some champagne and do it thattaway.
The new—community news, I suppose? Faces and brews. I wanted to call it Phaces but the Ph- is so played out… but now that I see it on paper … PHACES.

Somehow PHACES accentuates the “Aces” part of the word in my brain.
It makes the article feel more pointed. More poignant. Which these conversations were.
These people had some important things to say.
