For the few of you who missed this and are still in the mood for some Christmas music, go check this absolute behemoth of a project that debuted in early December 2020 and sold for $15 on BandCamp. It was all for a great cause, to help out the local stages struggling through the pandemic. They raised over $5k for local stages and Toys for Tots.

Bravo, everyone! Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to everyone involved.

We’ve already got articles written on just about every one of the acts featured. They were invited to join for a reason. It’s an impressive collective.

This album surely isn’t going anywhere because, simply put, it fucking rocks. From the very first song “Have Yourself a Funky Little Christmas” by Nik Greeley (ft. Jeremy Savo, Ethan Feinstein, Wil Schade, and Jonathan Colman), it’s a hell of a time. I plan on listening again during Christmas in July, and we will be sure to bring it back into your life next December.

Jonny Bell’s Nat King Cole cover is pretty damn good, especially considering I only been privy to his hip-hop prior to this song. Heaven Man’s Johnny Cash cover is another standout. Laura Lizcano’s soft angelic tune on the Philly Holiday album soothes scrooge souls.

House Plant’s “Xmas in New Zealand” is hidden goofy gem, complete with some scrumptious 80s synth. Minka’s “White Christmas” lives in the same scintillating and colorful world of Christmas songs.

I also found out that there are groups called Astronaut Jumpshot and Trap Rabbit… perhaps two of the best band names ever.
