The Eagles Play An Undeniable Brand Of Football

A talented, well-coached football team from top to bottom that produces different solutions for different opponents to seal the victory.

They’ve won several games with a well-executed gameplan, in control from start to finish with limited hiccups. They’ve also won by making the proper adjustments and big plays when needed most. At their best, the Eagles look like an undeniable force, slowly bending the opposition to their will.

That being said…

You’re allowed to say the Eagles haven’t Really beaten anybody THAT good… yet.

We owned the Vikings in week 2, but that’s too early to call it a statement win. The Titans were a one-dimensional offense and a winning team on the slide, same as the Giants. The Cowboys were without Dak. The Packers aren’t the team they have been the last decade with Rodgers at the helm. The Lions are a decent football team but week 1 is week 1.

THAT BEING SAID…

WINNING 13 out of 14 FOOTBALL GAMES in the Dominant fashion the Eagles Have ain’t a goddamn thing TO SNEEZE ABOUT.

“The System”

You can also say that the Eagles made some of those tougher teams look not so tough because that’s the affect they have on inferior football teams.

And Lastly, YOU CAN Definitely Say THAT WE’RE ready for anybody & Everybody.

The Chiefs and Bills in the AFC, and more importantly, the Cowboys (again), Vikings (again), and the surging 49ers in the NFC.

Bring ‘em all on.

Why? It’s our ability to win and do so on our terms. It’s a shrewd form of domination that breaks the spirits of opponents, a shapeshifting dominance that the Eagles possess more so than any other team in the league.

They expose teams and find answers to win football games in the way great teams do.

The Philadelphia Eagles will find a way to beat your football team… and you know it.

The perfect example of this is the back-to-back wins over the Packers and Titans. We stomped the Packers on the ground, drive after drive, running for nearly 4 football fields and scoring 40 points. Despite their pesky ability to keep the game in reach, the Eagles doomed the heroics behind a stout O-Line and great rushing performances by Hurts & Sanders. The Titans watch this happen and pick their poison—they dare Jalen Hurts to throw the football. And he does… again to the tune of 3 touchdowns and nearly 400 yards.

Let’s break some of these dubs down.

  • The Lions make it a shootout? We stay consistent to our offensive gameplan, execute at the end, and find a difference-maker on defense in Bradberry’s pick 6.

  • A spry Jags team comes out hot? Put the kibosh on that, take the lead, and never look back.

  • The Cardinals play a tough nose game at home? It comes down to a 2 possessions. We got enough to score on their defense and stymy their 2-minute drill without much threat.

  • The Cowboys are winning big games with a backup QB? The Eagles impose their will on them under the bright lights of Sunday Night Football.

  • The Packers won’t quit? We prove the run game, drive-after-drive until there’s no clock left.

  • The Colts try to control possession (like the Commanders)? Better put some points up… and keep it out of Jalen’s hands with the game on the line. THE WALK IN.

  • The Titans shut the run down with 7-8 in the box? LOL PLEASE DO. We’ll throw it to the guy they call SWOLE BATMAN who just so happens to be on a mission to fucking destroy you this week. G’luck with that…

  • The Giants coach tries to sweet talk us into playing them soft? Brandon Graham makes fun of your children and we trounce you.

  • Valiant effort from Justin Fields and Chicago, but apparently Hasson Reddick showed up to rip your heart out. Guy was a menace. All-around impressive team win in tough conditions.

UNDENIABLE

Confident Coaching Straight from the Heart

Sirianni has this team playing with heart and soul. He’s said the best motivator is “love” and he shows it. His players show it. The City shows it back. It’s palpable.

They believe in one another. Like any good football team, their next man up mentality is impressive and hasn’t received its proper due. Major shout outs are due for Josiah Scott, Calcaterra & Stoll, the new monster gobblers we’ve got at DT, and Blankenship/K’von.

Healthy or not, role players have made big, timely plays, and the stars have been consistent & impactful.

Been a goddamn pleasure watching this family of a football team ball out all year.

Shane Steichen always has something ready for an active defense. Sometimes resulting in wide open touchdowns (QB draws especially).

Jonathan Gannon has taken a massive leap forward this year, showing the ability to expose and eliminate offensive weaknesses and find unique ways to disrupt the rhythm of the opposition. The big plays have been few and far between and the talent on that side of the ball has played up to par.

And of course… in Howie we trust. He addressed every single need, both in-season and in the off-season. Fantastic job all around by the organization. Appreciate ya, Mr. Lurie.

Above all, we’ve got that Super Bowl Funk

When the fat guys are singing, that’s a good sign. You think their Christmas album sells out if they’re a losing football team? … actually it probably does, it slaps.

We’ve got a bunch of caped crusaders at wideout having a blast on the sideline while our MVP candidate QB is laser-focused up three touchdowns.

In the close games, you have confidence they’ll find a way to get the win. In the blow outs, you’re confident they’ll close it out.

Although we’ve been blessed with good health, we have sustained some significant, non-season ending injuries, responding with impressive backup play and free agent additions.

Godzilla himself, Jordan Davis was a bigger loss before Sun & Joseph came along. A good nickel back is an important thing to have in today’s NFL and Avante Maddox it’s probably one of the best. Top 5 TE Dallas Goedert, and interception league leader CJ Gardner-Johnson were definitely scary injuries as well and very glad to have those two back eventually.

To close this thing out…

Its been a hell of a season, but as that whole team knows and continues to preach, nothing’s been achieved. They’re playing tight and their mindset is right.
